DayCourier – Collect & Deliver

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by DayCourier (trading name of Georgi Georgiev) in the United Kingdom.
By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Trading name: DayCourier  
Operator: Georgi Georgiev (Self-employed sole trader, United Kingdom)  
Service type: On-demand, same-day courier service

2. Services

DayCourier operates one unified on-demand courier service called Collect & Deliver, combining direct parcel delivery and Click & Collect into a single same-day solution.

We do not:

- operate depots or warehouses  
- store goods  
- consolidate orders from different customers  

All deliveries are carried out directly from pickup to drop-off.  
This ensures a direct and efficient same-day delivery service.

3. Booking

All bookings are made through our website or booking system (powered by Onro).

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:

- pickup and delivery addresses  
- contact details  
- order reference and item description  

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation without refund.

Placing an order requires customer registration within our booking platform.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely via Stripe.  
DayCourier does not store card details.

All prices are displayed before order confirmation.  
Prices are calculated automatically based on the selected service, distance, and options.

Once payment is completed, the booking is considered confirmed.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

- before courier assignment: a full refund may be issued  
- after courier assignment: a partial or full charge may apply depending on the stage of the delivery  
- once delivery has started: no refund is available  

Refunds are processed to the original payment method.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that:

- items are properly packed and safe for transport  
- goods are legal and compliant with UK law  
- someone is available at both pickup and delivery locations  
- correct and reachable contact details are provided  

DayCourier is not responsible for delays caused by:

- incorrect or incomplete addresses  
- recipient unavailability  
- unsafe, prohibited, or illegal shipments  

7. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

- illegal goods  
- hazardous, dangerous, or flammable materials  
- live animals  
- controlled medicines (subject to regulatory restrictions)  
- items exceeding £100 declared value  

Any items unsuitable for safe transport by motorbike, car, or van may be refused.

8. Liability and Insurance

Maximum liability per order: £100

DayCourier operates as a same-day courier service using independent courier partners.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the maximum liability for loss or damage to any item is limited to £100 per order.

The declared value represents the maximum amount that may be considered in case of loss or damage.

Customers must declare the correct value of items at the time of booking.

Items exceeding £100 in value may not be fully covered unless additional cover is agreed in advance.

DayCourier works with independent courier partners who hold their own insurance, including Goods in Transit and Public Liability cover.

Any such insurance is provided solely by the courier and is subject to the terms, conditions, and limits of their individual policy.

Insurance cover is not provided directly by DayCourier and, where applicable, is provided by the courier in accordance with their individual policy.

We aim to resolve any issues fairly. Each case is reviewed individually, and compensation, where applicable, is limited to the declared value.

DayCourier is not responsible for:

- indirect or consequential losses  
- loss of profit or business interruption  
- delays caused by circumstances outside our control  

Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

9. Delivery Times

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.

DayCourier is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number C1904360.

11. Platform Use

We use third-party platforms for operational and payment processing, including:

- Onro (order and delivery management)  
- Stripe (payment processing)  

DayCourier is not responsible for technical failures, outages, or disruptions of third-party systems.

Certain features and availability depend on these platforms.

12. Amendments

DayCourier reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The version published on our website is the legally binding version.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
