Preparing your item
Items must be securely packed and suitable for transport. Fragile items require appropriate protection. Acceptance depends on the item's size, weight, type and available vehicle capacity.
Our planned same-day service covers everyday items, documents and parcels — collected and delivered directly from point A to point B.

Declared Value
Items are accepted with a maximum declared value of £100 per delivery.
Declared value does not automatically guarantee insurance cover or compensation.
Any compensation will depend on the applicable terms, liability and confirmed insurance coverage.

Courier & Customer Responsibilities
Couriers are required to maintain appropriate insurance for the deliveries they undertake.
Customers are responsible for accurate item descriptions, declared values and secure packaging.
Any loss or damage claim will be reviewed in accordance with the applicable terms and legal responsibilities.
Where can we collect & deliver?
We can arrange collection on your behalf, provided the item is ready and an authorised person can hand it over when required.
You choose the collection and delivery locations — we handle the transport in between.
Collection and delivery can be arranged on your behalf, subject to access, authorisation and handover requirements.

Who is placing the delivery order?
In a DayCourier Collect & Deliver order, the person booking can be:
the Sender, the Receiver, or a Third-Party Organiser.
📦 Sender
Located at the pickup address
The Sender gives the parcel to the courier at the pickup location.
Typical situations:

- Sending a parcel to a customer
- Returning goods to a supplier
📍 Receiver
Located at the drop-off address
The Receiver accepts the delivery.
Typical situations:
- Receiving documents or contracts

May be located at either address or elsewhere
The Third-Party Organiser coordinates the delivery between the sender and the receiver.
